Not difficult to get to this Sports Bar & Steak House. The BTS at Phrom Phong station is about a 5 minute walk to Sukhumvit Soi 33 and Tenderloin's sits only a 2 minute walk down the Soi on the left side. The exterior is rather indescript, no fancy blinking lights or huge neon signs, and upon entering patrons find a casual atmosphere with wide-screen monitors hanging on the walls. As a matter of fact, I don't think there is a spot in the whole place where you can't view at least a couple sporting events. A pool table and lots of tables are generously spaced apart for customers to relax while enjoying a beer and some football or for diners selecting from the choice of some fantastic steaks and menu menu items that are not only fresh and well prepared but also presented nicely. The steaks are top-notch, chilled - not frozen, and flown in each week & picked up upon arrival by staff at the airport.
The selection of wines include about 15 choices, with about half from Australia and the rest from France, South Africa, and New Zealand. An obvious thing was the fact that wines are very reasonably priced between 1,000 and 2,000 baht.
The menu includes some bbq kebabs and offers about 13 all-day favorites, each more mouth-smacking than the next, such as, sausage wrapped in an oversized bun with chopped onion, tomatoes and accompanied by fries, or the Works Burger, a thick patty of 100% choice beef with caramelized onion, tomato, cheese, crispy bacon, fried egg and BBQ sauce. Main dishes include chops, chicken, salmon, bbq fish and Australian 500g T-bone, Rib-eye, and the Australian Angus Tenderloin to name a few.
Kid's aren't left out here as choice include ice cream and soft drink. Set meals are available Monday to Friday but the biggest secret is the fantastic Sunday BBQ Buffet with choices like turkey, lamb, rump steak, roast beef, pork chops, chicken breast, sausages, kebabs, salad, corn, fries, and the list goes on for only 395 baht. Very reasonable, right?
